Today is the third annual Asteroid Day. The aim of the day is to raise public awareness of asteroids, what they are, how we can utilise them in the future and the risks they pose to planet Earth.
NSC fully supports the event and it's aims. Companies, including local ones, are now involved in detecting asteroids and even mining them.
